Caterpillar Homework Club

The Caterpillar Homework Club program is a free after-school program and is provided to students in Pre-K to 8th grade. The program is designed to provide students in the community with an educational, fun, interactive, and engaging after-school learning experience.

Pathway to College

The “Pathway to College” program guides parents and students by providing tips and resources that can be utilized when beginning the college application process. Our goal is to share our knowledge and experiences to students and to provide the support and encouragement they may need in order to ensure their future success.

Girl Scouts

The “Girl Scouts” program offers young girls the opportunity to unleash their inner “G.I.R.L” – (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader). This programs offers a variety of hands-on group projects and activities designed to spark their interest in STEM concepts and careers, through the arts

The “Guitar’ program offers young children the opportunity to learn how to read music, sight-read notes from the board and learn how to play them on guitar

ESL Program

“ESL instruction teaches students basic language skills, as well as the academic and civic skills they need to successfully complete higher education or job training programs. The emphasis is on improving English skills in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Instructional themes include work, family, citizenship, and topics based on student interests.” – Department of Education

CPR Program

CPR is a course aims to give participants the knowledge and confidence to respond during an emergency situation with skills that can help save a life.

Healthy Lifestyle

Our Living A Healthy Lifestyle program provides services for families in need. Nutrition workshops are offered for the families of the bronx. These workshops educate the families on how to create healthy habits, make wise food choices, and budgeting their financial to allow them to purchase healthy foods rather than quick and easy unhealthy foods.

Volunteer/Internships

Our foundation offers a wide-variety of Internship and volunteering opportunities. Interns are open to college students of all majors and our volunteer positions are open to high school students. Our interns are predominantly from Fordham University, Monroe Community College, and Hostos Community College.

Summer Youth Employment Program

Summer Youth Employment Program is a New York City Council funded initiative designed to build off the experiences gained in the Summer Youth Employment program. are high school students. WLG provides participants are 16-21 years old students currently in school with career ready training and paid employment opportunities from the month of October to March.
