Pathway to College
Pathway to College is provided to Juniors and seniors in high school.The Pathway to College program guides parents and students by providing tips and resources that can be utilized when beginning the college application process. Our goal is to share our knowledge and experiences to students and to provide the support and encouragement they may need in order to ensure their future success. The interns at our foundation work as a team to help guide our students through the college application process. In the program we provide a wide-range of workshop activities through specific parts of the college application process. To help guide our students, interns also help them register for the SAT and/or ACT exam. After this process pathway to college students are guided through the common app application to
apply to their desired colleges ensuring they meet the required deadlines. The program also provide assistance with the financial aid process that comes with applying to college. During this process, we help students figure out which scholarships and/or grants can be applicable to their individual circumstances. Our team is also responsible for helping students with their college essays, letters of recommendations, and personal statements. Additionally, the Pathway to College program allows opportunities to meet speakers who have chosen from a variety of career paths which then allows students to venture different career paths. Lastly, we provide assistance with anything else required by colleges’ prior to admission. These processes include but are not limited to: College visits, interview preparations, educational activities, and volunteering opportunities, etc.
