Bronx Leaders of the Future

Leaders of the Future is provided to juniors and seniors in high school. This program guides parents and students by providing tips and resources that can be utilized when beginning the college application process. Interns at our foundation work as a team to help guide our students through the college application process, along with registering for the SAT and/or ACT exam.

 

We also provide assistance with the financial aid process, guide with figuring out which scholarships and/or grants can be applicable to your individual circumstances. Our team is also responsible for aiding students with their college essays, letters of recommendation, and personal statements.

In addition to helping you prepare the way to university, develop your production skills and creativity by participating in our TvShow Leaders of the Future.

Supporting the Bronx Community

The Bronx has come a long way in the last few decades. From previously being known for its high poverty and crime rates to a thriving borough home to 1,438,159 inhabitants, much have been done to bring this diverse, lively place to its full potential. Yet in spite of all the efforts being made in order to achieve this, our children still carry the stigma from this ghastly past and continue to be neglected in many areas that are essential to their optimal development.

Founded by Dr. Denise Nunez, the primary goal of Nino De La Caridad Foundation is to extend a helping hand to children of our Bronx Community. The foundation aims to provide a secure environment in which children are able to enhance their social skills as well as their academics. It is our mission to provide children with the skills and knowledge they need to lead a healthy and fulfilling future.

Our interns are predominantly from Fordham University,
Monroe College, and Hostos Community College.
Each of our programs provides internship and volunteering opportunities.

Our team focuses on ensuring and providing those in need with the resources and opportunities necessary to create an equitable and just future for children, families, and the communities they reside in.

With passion and purpose, we rally hearts, minds, and spirits to participate in constructing a better tomorrow for everyone to live in. Specifically, we aim to assist the future of our community – the children – by helping them leading healthy lifestyles and succeeding academically. In our short existence, we have been able to change the lives of many and we plan on changing many more.
